Process: All entries will be handled through http://www.coacho.com/cgi-bin/login.pl?cd=al_smithsstation
Form 52 in the state form book for team rosters must be signed by the principal
and sent/brought to the meet director by April 26. An athlete not listed on Form
52 will not be allowed to participate in the sectional meet.
Verification of entries: A printout from Coacho will be your verification.
Note: 6A Field events will start at 10:30 AM ET Thursday.
5A Field events will start at 10:30 AM ET Friday.
There will be a finals only format in the field events with only three attempts.
6A: 3200m, 800m finals & ALL Prelims will be on Thursday.
4x800m relay will be at 11:45 ET girls/12:00 ET boys on Friday.
5A: 1600m, 4x800m relay finals & ALL Prelims will Friday from 10:30-1:05.
The remaining 5A/6A FINALS will begin at 1:05 ET on Friday.

Top 4 individuals and Top 4 relay teams qualify for state: 3200m & 3200m relay must make times.
5A(3200: boys- under 13:00, girls- under 15:00; 3200 relay: boys- under 9:15, girls- under 12:00)
6A(3200: boys- under 11:00, girls- under 13:00; 3200 relay: boys- under 9:00, girls- under 11:00)
**These races will end at the minimum time standard. All runners not under the minimum will be
pulled from the race to keep on the time schedule.
You will still need to make a roster list of all athletes that will be competing, on Form 52 and signed by the principal. Be sure to put any athlete that you may use at the sectional meet, even substitutes. If the athletes name is not on Form 52 with the principal’s signature they are NOT eligible to compete in the sectional meet.
Jewelry and uniform rule will be strictly enforced. All athletes, including throwing events, must have a school issued uniform.
The maximum spike length is ¼ inch.
There will be a $20 protest fee that must be filed within 30 minutes of notification of the disqualification (appealable offenses are misapplications of NFHS/AHSAA rules).
No athlete or coach will be allowed on the interior of the track once the meet starts. This is a restricted area. The only athletes in the restricted area will be those participating in the field events at that time or being escorted to the line for a running event.
